Edward Foncier, Swartz, Jr., formerly of Niles, was born January 10, 1949 in Chicago to Edward F. and Katherine Ann (nee English) Swartz. He died January 17, 2008 at. jis home.

Mr. Swartz was an accountant for Electrical Marketing Group in Bensenville. He was formerly a manager at Airnet in Rosemont. He was an avid horseplayer and enjoyed attending the races at Arlington Park.

Edward’s survivors include his son Edward F. Swartz III; his grandchildren Ashley Grace and Katherine Alice; his sister Kathy (Ernest) Heller, his brothers James (Shirley), William, Vincent; his niece and nephews Caitlin Heller, Vincent and Matthew Swartz.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 until time of funeral service at 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.
