Bernadine S. Wysocki (nee Sokolski) was born in Chicago on May 29, 1936 to Maryon and Stella (nee Bieniasz). She passed away on January 20, 2008 in Arlington Heights.

Bernie taught chemistry at St. Scholastica, Regina Dominican and Willowbrook High Schools.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Allen whom she married on September 28, 1963, her children, Marian (Jamie) Whiteman and Paul (Theresa) Wysocki, her grandchildren, Simon and Theodore Whiteman and Catherine, Christopher and Jessica Wysocki and her sister, Dorothy (the late Casey) Kubak.

Visitation 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
