John R. “Jack” Jozwiak

John R. "Joz", "Professor"
Jozwiak was born February
10, 1927 in Chicago to
Charles J. and Gertrude (nee
O'Neill) Jozwiak. He died
Monday, January 7, 2008 at
the Lutheran Home and
Services in Arlington
Heights.
He was Professor Emeritus at
Loyola University where he
was on the faculty for over
40 years as a professor of
Business Law. Jack earned
his degree of Juris Doctor
in Law in 1954 from Loyola
University. He was also a
member of the Society of the
Shield and Alpha Sigma Nu.
He received the
Distinguished Service Award
from Loyola University in
1998. He was also Treasurer
of the Midwest Business Law
Association, from 1977-1980.
He had served in the Army in
the late 1940's.
John R. Jozwiak, 80,
survived by his cousins
Molly Campbell and Gertrude
Beaver, his long time
friends Dick and Toni
Garrity, Joan Wade, his dear
friends Joseph and Patricia
Bielat, Marvel Pomeroy; as
well as many other very
close friends.
