Edward A. Dillon
Of Arlington Heights

Edward A. Dillon was born on August 17, 1980 in Arlington Heights to Edward J. and Ellen (nee Migdow) Dillon. He passed away on December 31, 2007 in Arlington Heights.

Ed was a 1998 graduate of Stevenson High School. He earned his bachelor of arts in political science and journalism at Bradley University in 2002 and his master of criminal justice from Boston University in 2005. He joined the Arlington Heights police force in March of 2003 and was currently an investigator. He loved his job and his coworkers. He will be sorely missed. Ed was always quick to volunteer and help out in any way when called upon. He served as treasurer of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 80. He was a huge Notre Dame and Cubs fan. It was always a special day to head down to South Bend with family and friends. The Irish will surely miss him.

Ed is survived by his parents, his brothers, Benjamin and Joseph Dillon, his grandparents, Benjamin and Eloise Migdow and Jeanne Martin and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation 3-9 PM Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the funeral home to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
