Henry V. Moore was born June 2, 1913 in Holland Ohio to Vallee and Anna Moore. He died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Before retiring, Mr. Moore was the vice president of sales for Fearn International in Franklin Park. He was the founding Exalted Ruler of Arlington Heights Elks Lodge #2048. Henry was an art collector, a woodworker, an avid swimmer and a member of the Board of Directors of Cambridge on the Lakes. He was a 1935 graduate of the University of Illinois where he played on the Fighting Illini football team.

His survivors include his son John T. Moore of Buffalo Grove; and his grandchildren Rachel W. Moore of Houston, Texas and Matthew F. Moore of Greenville, North Carolina.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, his ex-wife Marjorie “Marty” Moore and his brothers Joseph, Ted and Leo Moore.

Visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2007 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. 120 N. 11th St., Cambridge, Ohio. Funeral service 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Interment Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, Ohio.
