William J. Barnes

William J. Barnes was born on June 6, 1930 in Cleveland, OH to William J. and Margaret (nee Shelley) Barnes. He died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in Palatine.

Mr. Barnes is survived by his children, William J. (Marcia) Barnes, III of Mt. Prospect, Jane (Robert) Walsh of Cary, Patricia (Scott) Kane of Deer Park and James (Laura) Barnes of Long Grove; step-daughter, Lisa (T.J.) Thiltgen of Warrenville; grandchildren, Dan, Sean, Caitlin, Cariann, Megan, Tom, K.J., Jake, Haley and Tommy; his sisters, Margaret (Robert) Kozurek of Westchester and Mary Lamesch of Wheaton and his sister-in-law, Mary Barnes of Lombard.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol (nee Duda); his parents; brother Richard Barnes; and brother-in-law, Gustave Lamesch.

Visitation 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 28, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment All Saints Polish National Cemetery, Chicago.
