Virginia I. Waskowski was born on November 5, 1920 in Bridgeport to Zygmunt and Ursula (nee Cejner) Sadowski. She died Sunday, January 14, 2007 in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Waskowski is survived by her children, Anita (Brad) Durham of Arlington Heights and Ted (Cathy) Waskowski of Oregon, WI; her grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Simone, Adam Waskowski, Keaton Durham and David Waskowski; her great-granddaughter, Madelin Simone; and her sisters, Gloria (Joe) LaBudda of Mauston, WI, Adele (Dan) Stieber of Rockford, Medarda (Bob) Skowron of Arlington Heights and many nieces and nephews.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Waskowski; her parents; and her siblings, Bob and Ray Sadwoski and Eleanore Hammarlund.

Service and interment were held privately. Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights is handling the arrangements.
