Frances M. Lamantia was born December 11, 1910 in Coal City to George and Frances (nee Gerage) Militello. She died Saturday. January 6, 2007 at ManorCare Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Lamantia was a seamstress employed by Hart Schaffner & Marx before retiring.

Her survivors include her son Marino (Jean) Lamantia of Arlington Heights; her granddaughter Lisa Lamantia; and her many nieces and nephews.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, and her three sisters and three brothers.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Monday, January 8, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
