Bernadine Mary Growney

Bernadine Mary Growney was born on September 28, 1916 in Conception Junction, Missouri to John Henry and Pharaba Rebecca (nee Alsbury) Luke. She died Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Growney is survived by her children, Robert L. (Wilma) Growney of South Barrington, Diane Jazdyk of Joliet and Kathleen (Edwin) Schmitt of Downers Grove; her grandchildren, Matthew, Alicia, Rebecca, Lisa, Jennifer, Laura, Julie, David and Brian; her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Nicholas, Ashley, Alexis, Kailey and Kloe; and her sister, Rosemary Crenshaw.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Eugene Growney; her parents; her brothers, Albert, Paul, Herbert and Linus Luke; and her brother-in-law, Robert Crenshaw.

Visitation 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 11:30 AM, Monday, January 8, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness for Mass at 12:30 PM. Entombment Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
