Laddie F. Poduska
Of Arlington Heights

Laddie F. Poduska was born March 29, 1907 in Chicago to Joseph and Anna (nee Holubovsky) Poduska. He died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Holy Family Healthcare in Des Plaines.

At the time of his retirement in 1972 Mr. Poduska was an attorney for the staff of the Chicago Title and Trust where he was employed for over 46 years. He was a former member of the Illinois State Bar Assn., Chicago Bar, Northwest Suburban Association and the Bohemian Lawyers Association. He was a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago, 1935 PhD degree and 1937 Juris Doctor Degree. An active member of Presidents Society, Loyola University and Lumen Cordium. He served in the US Army during WW II.

Laddie is survived by his daughter-in-law Mary Claire Poduska of Wheeling; his grandsons Brian (Christine), Kevin and Timothy Poduska; her great grandchildren Annabel and William.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lillian in 1942 and Saveria in 1986, his son Joseph John Poduska, his sister Mildred Poduska, Beatrice Poduska, Mae Broz and his brothers Jerry, Miles and Bohumil Poduska.

Visitation from 8:30 AM until time of prayers at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
