Thomas M. Panunzio
Of Elk Grove Village

Thomas M. Panunzio was born May 8, 1923 in Chicago to Rafael and Grace (nee Mancini) Panunzio. He died Monday, January 23, 2006 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Panunzio was a contract administrator for the Department of Defense for over 30 years before he retired in 1985. He served in the US Army during WW II. Thomas was an animal lover and an avid golfer and bowler.

His survivors include his daughters Lea A. (Quinn) Regan of Inverness and Vicki of Oro Valley, Arizona; his grandchildren Tommy, Michael, Timmy, Patric, Lindsay Regan, Christie Regan, Quinn Regan and Michael Regan; and his brother-in-law Henry (Barb) Stauffer and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie; his sisters Agatha Drabick and Rose DeFlorio and his brothers Dominic and Anthony Panunzio.

Visitation 5:00 until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:30 AM, Wednesday, January 25 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness for Mass at 10:30 AM. Burial St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
