Carmel H. Loch
Of Arlington Heights

Carmel H. Loch was born October 20, 1932 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She died Monday, January 16, 2006 at her home.

Mrs. Loch was a long time and active member of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Marklund Auxiliary and the Knights of Columbus Holy Rosary Council #4483 Ladies Auxiliary. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, neighbor and friend. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Always welcoming, Carmel is an inspiration.

Carmel's survivors include her children A. Thomas (Carol) Loch, Timothy (Mary) Loch, Terry (Kathy) Loch, Raymond (Mary) Loch, Michael (Lynn) Loch, David (Cathleen) Loch, Kelly (Jay) Behn, Molly (Bill) Baker, Kathleen Loch, Edwin (Rose Ann) Loch, Daniel Loch, Carmel (James) Pfeifer, Amy (Kevin) Cox and Billy (Carrie) Loch; her 38 grandchildren Tyler, Craig, Quinten, Grahm, Mary Carmel, Dylan, Dustin, James, Ryan, Sean, Kelly, Kevin, A.J., Ashley, Alex, Alizabeth, Abigail, Adam, Cassandra, Danielle, Kyle, Molly, David, John, Emily, Mary, Billy, Betsy, Joey, Maggie, Danny, David, Logan, Jack, Grace, Archie, Nate and Noah; her siblings, Cleon Gros, Emily Ann Poché, Janet Raymond, Yolande Howat, Gerald Howat and Louis W. Howat , Jr.

She is preceded in death by her husband Archibald E. Loch.

Visitation from 1:00 until 9:00 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:00 AM, Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., proceeding to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
