Manuel Anthony "Manny" Zicari
Manuel Anthony Zicari, of Phoenix, Arizona formerly Des Plaines and Schaumburg was born July 6, 1925 in Chicago to Joseph and Sophie (nee Montalbano) Zicari. He died Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Eckstein Center/Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Mr. Zicari was a Crew Chief of Maintenance for American Airlines at O'Hare International Airport form 1960 until he retired in 1985. He served in the Navy during WW II and was a member of the Pure-Heart Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
Manny's survivors include his step-daughters Cheri (Loren) Procter of Overland Park, Kansas and Lori (John Jr.) Glueckert of Arlington Heights; his grandson Steven (Stephanie) Dudek and his brother Vincent.
He is preceded in death by his wife Elaine D. "Pam" nee Christie.
Visitation 3:00 until 6:00 PM, Sunday, January 8, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks South of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 12:30 PM Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of your choice.
