Catherine Fergus was born August 22, 1917 in Chicago to Cornelius and Bridget (nee Leahy) Shea. She died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at ManorCare Health Services in Arlington Heights.

Her survivors include her children James (Frances) Fergus of Limerick, Pennsylvania, Mary Kay (William) DeBaets of Prospect Heights and John (Kathryn) Fergus of Chicago, her brother Bernard (Rose) Alcock and her 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Catherine is preceded in death by her husband John; her parents; her brother Cornelius (Mae) Shea and her sister Lillian (Phillip) O’Donnell.

Visitation from 3:00 until 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
