William J. Malauskas
Of Crystal Falls, Michigan

William J. Malauskas, formerly of Chicago and Prospect Heights, was born November 21, 1912. He died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Iron County General Hospital in Iron River, Michigan.

Before he retired, Mr. Malauskas was an inspector for Western Electric. He served in the Army during WW II and was a former member of the River Grove VFW.

Williams's survivors include his wife Nettie (nee Solduczyk); his sonWilliam P. (Norma) Malauskas of Three Lakes, Wisconsin; his granddaughter Christine (Cole) Renken; his grandson Ethan; and his brother Frank Malauskasof Downers Grove, Ill.

He is preceded in death by his sisters Jenny & Mary and his brothers Alex, John, Joe, Jerry and Raymond.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., proceeding to St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be at All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines, Illinois.
