Alfred Pietka, beloved husband of Olga A. nee Checchin; loving brother of Alex (Evelynn) Pietka, the late Edward, Mary and Henry Pietka; loved son of the late John and Mary (nee Sraga) Pietka; dear brother-in-law of Lino (Dea) Checchin, Mary Checchin, and the late Ferdiando Checchin; caring uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Prayers 9:15 AM Monday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights to St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd. for Mass at 10:00 AM. Visitation Sunday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
