Robert F. Murray
Of Arlington Heights

Robert F. Murray, formerly of Northbrook from 1966 until he relocated to Luther Village in 2000, was born October 25, 1924 in Memphis, Tennessee, to Carlton and Margaret (nee Filgo) Murray. He died Saturday, January 8, 2005 at his home.

Mr. Murray, a graduate of Duke University Law School, spent his entire 40 year career with Brunswick, retiring as the Director of Contracts for the Defense Division.

His survivors include his wife of 46 years, Nita nee Overlock, whom he married June 14, 1958, his daughter Margaret "Meg" Murray of Schaumburg and his son Robert Murray of New York, New York.

Robert is preceded in death by his step-daughter Christina Carolyn Bell and his brothers Bill and Wallace Murray.

Visitation Wednesday, January 12, 2005 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Service and interment are private.
